Hip or Pelvis Injuries - £850 to £95,000

Minor injuries settling down with complete recovery - £850 to £2,750.

Significant injury with little or no residual disability - £2,750 to £8,500.

Injuries leading to successful hip replacement surgery - £8,500 to £20,000.

Significant injury resulting in moderate permanent disability - £18,500 to £27,000.

Injuries such as fractures of the acetabulum leading to degenerative changes, leg instability, leg shortening surgery and the likelihood of hip replacement. The bracket would also cover in case of fracture of an arthritic femur, hip requiring hip replacement, or a fracture resulting in a hip replacement that is only partly successful, so that there is a clear risk of the need for revision surgery and serious permanent disability - £27,000 to £42,500.

Extremely severe injuries including dislocation of the pelvis, impotence, incontinence and extensive fractures of the pelvis. For a hip injury that results in damage of the back joint with intolerable pain and requiring spinal fusion surgery - £42,500;to £95,000.
